Description
The Goldshell XT Box 580G (400 W) Oct Miner is a compact yet high-performance SHA3x-algorithm ASIC miner designed for both home and professional mining setups. With a rated hashrate of approximately 580 GH/s and a power consumption of only around 400 W, it delivers excellent energy efficiency (~0.69 J/GH) and low operating cost. Built by Goldshell, this miner features an ultra-compact footprint (approx. 198 × 150 × 95 mm) and lightweight design (about 2.4 kg) which makes it easy to deploy in confined spaces or home rigs without sacrificing performance. It supports dual-mode connectivity (Ethernet + WiFi) and is optimized for minimal noise (<35 dB) making it one of the quietest options for active miners.

Questions buyers ask about this machine
What voltage does it need?
It accepts 110–240 V, so it will run on either a North American 120 V outlet or a 240 V circuit. Check the current draw against the breaker on whichever one you use.
What will it cost to run?
That depends on your electricity rate, so here is the part we can state exactly: at 400 W running 24/7, this machine burns about 288 kWh a month. Multiply that by your own all-in rate per kWh — including delivery charges, not just the supply rate — to get your monthly power bill. We do not publish profitability figures, because they change with difficulty and price every day.
How loud is it?
≤35 dB — about as loud as a normal conversation, and it does not stop. That is quiet enough to be liveable in a garage or utility room, though it still runs continuously.
What can I mine with it?
The algorithm is SHA3x, and ASIC silicon is single-purpose: it will mine coins on that algorithm and nothing else, whatever the price of anything else does.
Is this a new unit?
Yes — new stock, as described in this listing. Any manufacturer warranty term that applies is stated in the description above; where none is stated, none is claimed.
Shipping cost for this exact item, and how warranty and returns work here, are answered in the Shipping & buying tab on this page. Anything else, ask a person on +1 (781) 577-0377 or ns@ingmining.com — we would rather talk before you buy.
Powering it: this box draws about 400 W, so a single 1200 W HP server PSU carries two of them comfortably and three at its limit — not the four the PSU listing’s old title implied. Check your own box’s draw before you count on the third.

Where this sits: 580 GH/s at 0.69 J/GH, and it is the only Tari / SHA3x machine in the shop – so our own shelf cannot rank it against anything, and the figure that has to carry the decision is the $0.96 a day it costs to run at $0.10/kWh. It has a row of its own on the altcoin comparison table.
