A universal Antminer test fixture that powers a hashboard on the bench and tells you which ASIC position has failed rather than leaving you to guess. Error codes come out over a serial link to a PC, which is the difference between a repair that takes twenty minutes and one that takes an afternoon. Antminer test fixture interfaces — how it connects

DC 12 V input	For split-type miners (T9+, S9 series) you can power the fixture here without connecting the 6-pin PSU interface
PSU 6-pin connector	Required for all-in-one miners (S11, S15, T17, S17, S19, T19) — powers the fixture and carries the 4-pin voltage adjustment line
Data line IO interface	Connects to the hashboard. T9+ needs an 18-pin to 24-pin adapter
Serial connector	To a PC over USB-to-TTL to read the test log. Wiring is green (R), black (UART), white (T) — no red connection

Do not connect the red wire

Worth repeating on its own because it is the mistake people make once: on the serial connection the red lead is not used. USB-to-TTL cables carry a 5 V line on red, and connecting it to a fixture that is already powered is a good way to damage something. Green, black and white only.

What a fixture does and does not tell you

A fixture identifies the failing position on the board. It does not tell you why that position failed — whether the ASIC itself is dead or the power domain feeding it has gone — and that distinction decides whether the repair is a chip swap or a hunt through the DC-DC stage. Chasing the wrong one is the single most common way an hour becomes a day. Once you have the position, a chip tester answers the second question directly for the chip families it covers.

Backup drivers and software are included with this fixture at no extra cost. Lifetime technical support is available as an add-on; ask us for the current terms — a previous version of this page quoted a figure that no longer matched what the store charges, so we have removed the number rather than leave a stale one on the page.

Warranty and shipping

This listing states a three-month warranty and 1–3 day shipping within the US. US shipping only. Those are the terms that apply. An earlier version of this page also carried a 6-month manufacturer’s warranty and a 7-working-day dispatch claim from a generic template, both of which contradicted the real terms above; they have been removed.

When a fixture pays for itself, and when it does not

On one machine it never pays. This fixture is $199.99 and it wants a test-file card at $59.99 to be useful, so call it $259.98 on the bench — the price of roughly four tested-working S19 95 TH/s hashboards at $59.99 each. If you own a single miner, buy the machine tested or buy a tested replacement board and skip the diagnosis entirely; you will spend less being wrong twice than you will spend being certain.

It starts earning the moment you are guessing. Of the machines that reach us described as having a dead hashboard, roughly half have a healthy board and a sick power supply, control board or ribbon cable — and the buyer has usually already paid for the board by then. Four wrong guesses at $59.99 is the fixture. One $159.99 used S19 written off because nobody could tell a dead chain from a dead controller is most of it again. Tested working	Second-hand, and it ran on our bench at the hashrate the listing states. We measured it; we are not repeating what the last owner told us. Expect cosmetic wear.
Refurbished	Tested working, plus work done: cleaned, thermal paste and fans dealt with, failed components replaced. The listing says what was actually done to that unit rather than using the word as decoration.
As-is / for parts	Sold with no working claim at all, at a price that reflects it. Buy these to repair or to harvest. If a listing says as-is, assume it does not hash until you have proved otherwise.
Untested	We have it, we have not powered it, and we are not going to pretend we did. Rarer than as-is and always stated explicitly.

What a grade here does not mean

Cosmetic wear is not a fault. Dust, scratches, scuffed labels and discoloured plastics are normal on hardware that has been earning. We photograph what we have; if the pictures matter to you, ask for more and we will take them.
A grade is not a warranty. Warranty terms are stated per listing, never per store — see the Shipping & buying tab. A tested-working grade describes what the machine did on our bench, not what we owe you in six months.
A boosted hashrate is not a spec. Where a unit ships on tuned firmware we say so and we give the factory figures too, because overclocking raises power faster than it raises hashrate — a tuned machine is less efficient per terahash than stock, not more.
We will not invent a grade to fill a field. If a unit came in without history and has not been through the bench, its listing says that.

How the grade gets decided

A used-hardware seller who will not tell you how they test is asking you to take the grade on trust. Ours is published: the six-step bench procedure every machine goes through, and the five measurements that get recorded — per-board hashrate, chip count, measured wall power rather than the nameplate figure, hardware error rate, and temperature under sustained load. When it reaches you, run the 48-hour acceptance test straight away, while the freight claim window is still open.

Warranty is stated per listing, not across the catalogue. Some units carry a manufacturer term and say so above, naming the term and the date it runs from.
