Description
VolcMiner D1 Mini Pre 2.2G – Compact Power for Efficient Scrypt Mining
VolcMiner D1 Mini Pre 2.2G is a compact and efficient ASIC miner designed for Scrypt-based coins. It delivers 2.2 GH/s of hashrate while consuming only 500 W of power. Therefore, it is ideal for both home miners and small-scale operations that need reliable performance and lower energy costs. Moreover, the D1 Mini Pre supports dual mining for Litecoin (LTC) and Dogecoin (DOGE). Its simple plug-and-play setup ensures you can start mining within minutes. In addition, the miner’s quiet operation allows smooth use in both residential and office environments.

Questions buyers ask about this machine
What voltage does it need?
Anything from 90 V to 260 V AC, so an ordinary North American 120 V outlet is fine. At 500 W it pulls about 4.2 A at 120 V — comfortably inside a normal 15 A circuit, and genuinely unusual for a Scrypt machine. That is the main reason to choose it over an L7 or an L9, both of which need 240 V and an electrician.
What will it cost to run?
That depends on your electricity rate, so here is the part we can state exactly: at 500 W running 24/7, this machine burns about 360 kWh a month. Multiply that by your own all-in rate per kWh — including delivery charges, not just the supply rate — to get your monthly power bill. We do not publish profitability figures, because they change with difficulty and price every day.
How loud is it?
≤55 dB — about as loud as a busy office, and it does not stop. That is quiet enough to be liveable in a garage or utility room, though it still runs continuously.
What can I mine with it?
The algorithm is Scrypt, and ASIC silicon is single-purpose: it will mine coins on that algorithm and nothing else, whatever the price of anything else does.
Is this a new unit?
Yes — new stock, as described in this listing. Any manufacturer warranty term that applies is stated in the description above; where none is stated, none is claimed.
Shipping cost for this exact item, and how warranty and returns work here, are answered in the Shipping & buying tab on this page. Anything else, ask a person on +1 (781) 577-0377 or ns@ingmining.com — we would rather talk before you buy.

Where this sits: 2.2 GH/s at 229 J/GH makes this 8th of 16 by efficiency among the Scrypt machines we stock, and the power alone runs $1.20 a day at $0.10/kWh. That is 24% more power per unit of work than the Antminer L11 20G at 184 J/GH, and whether the gap is worth the price difference is the whole decision. Every row is on the Scrypt comparison table.
