What eBay seller account do I need?
You need an active eBay seller account with Production API access through the eBay Developer Program. Apply once — eBay typically approves within 1–3 business days. The app walks you through the full setup in Settings, including getting your App ID, Dev ID, Cert ID, and connecting your account via OAuth.
Do I need an Anthropic API key?
Yes. ING Listing Engine uses Claude AI by Anthropic to read product pages and write listing content. Create a free account at console.anthropic.com, generate an API key, and paste it into Settings. The typical cost is a few cents per listing — usually under $0.05 per product.
Does it work for any product category?
Yes. The AI adapts item specifics, description format, and category selection to any product type — electronics, clothing, tools, collectibles, auto parts, mining hardware, jewelry, industrial equipment, and any other eBay category — without any additional configuration.
Are my API keys and credentials secure?
Yes. Your Anthropic API key, eBay API credentials, and OAuth tokens are stored in a local file on your Windows machine only. They are never sent to ING Mining servers. The app communicates directly with Anthropic and eBay — no data passes through a third party.
