A microSD card imaged with overclocking firmware for the Bitmain Antminer L7. It works the simplest way any firmware mod can: power the miner down, insert the card, power it back up. Take the card out and the machine goes back to stock. That reversibility is the genuine appeal — you are not flashing anything permanently.
What the Antminer L7 actually is (this page used to get it wrong)
The L7 is a Scrypt miner. It mines Litecoin and Dogecoin. It does not mine Bitcoin and it does not run SHA-256. A previous version of this page listed “Hash Algorithm: SHA-256” and “Compatible Currency: Bitcoin”, which is wrong on both counts, and it also quoted hashrates in “GHz” — a unit of frequency, not of hashrate. The correct reference figures for the machine this card is for:

About the “up to 11 GH/s” figure — the honest version
Our own listing title says up to 11 GH/s and we are not going to let that stand without qualifying it. Treat 11 GH/s as a best case on a well-binned, well-cooled machine with real PSU headroom, not as a specification. What you actually get depends on the individual unit’s silicon, its intake temperature and whether its power supply can deliver more than stock. Some machines get close; some do not get near it.
Three things people underestimate, so we will say them plainly:
- Power rises faster than hashrate. Overclocking makes a machine faster and less efficient — your J/MH gets worse, not better. If your electricity is expensive, an overclock can move you further from break-even, not closer. The buying guide has the arithmetic.
- Your PSU has to carry it. A stock L7 supply sized for ~3,260 W does not have unlimited spare capacity. An overclock that the boards can survive can still be one the PSU cannot.
- It shortens the machine’s life and voids the manufacturer warranty. More heat and more current through the same hardware is the trade you are making. On an out-of-warranty machine that may well be worth it. On a new one, think harder.
What ships, and what backs it
A microSD card carrying the firmware image, plus a how-to manual, plus free configuration consultation by remote desktop, text or WhatsApp. The card’s capacity and brand vary — the image is small and works on any of the sizes we ship. This is third-party software on a generic card, so per the listing it is non-returnable. Earlier copy on this page promised a 6-month manufacturer’s warranty; there is no manufacturer behind an imaged SD card, and the claim contradicted the non-returnable term on the same page, so it has been removed. Ask us anything before you buy — this is a product where the conversation beforehand is worth more than the returns policy afterwards.

Condition and warranty
This listing does not state a condition grade or a warranty term, so we are not going to imply one. The parts and repair shelf carries both new spares and as-is units, so the category is not the answer either. Before you buy, ask us and we will tell you what we actually have — whether the card is new and sealed, or has already been imaged and handled, and which firmware build is on it — and put any coverage in writing. Questions buyers ask about this part
Does the card need its own power or a special circuit?
No — this listing is a microSD card, and there is nothing here to plug into a wall. It is read by the miner’s own control board. The 200–240 V AC and ~3,260 W figures in the table above belong to the Antminer L7 the card is for: that machine needs a dedicated 200–240 V circuit, and an earlier version of this answer presented the requirement as though it were the card’s. If you are sizing the circuit for the L7 itself, work from those figures and have an electrician confirm the supply.
What does the machine this card is for mine?
The Antminer L7 mines Litecoin and Dogecoin, merge-mined, on Scrypt. It does not mine Bitcoin and it does not run SHA-256. The card itself does not mine anything — it is the firmware image the miner boots from, and taking it out returns the machine to stock.
Is this a complete, working machine?
No. This listing is on the parts and repair shelf, which holds both brand-new spares and bench tools and as-is units sold for repair. What should I check the day it arrives?
Photograph the pallet or box before you open it, keep the packaging, and run the 48-hour acceptance test straight away. Freight claim windows are short, and a fault found on day two is a conversation while a fault found on day thirty is an argument. An overclock is not a repair, and it costs you efficiency
Be clear about which of the two things you are buying. A part restores a machine to what it was. This card makes an L7 do more work and draw more power to do it, and because power climbs faster than hashrate, the machine’s efficiency in J/MH gets worse, not better. That is not a criticism of the card — it does exactly what it says — it is the trade you are accepting, and on a Scrypt machine drawing around 3,260 W the electricity side is the whole of the economics.
The reversibility is the genuinely valuable part. Take the card out and the miner returns to stock, which means you can test the trade against your own power bill rather than argue about it: run stock for a week, run overclocked for a week, compare the meter against the pool.
