Description

A dual 120 mm fan assembly with mounting backplate for Bitmain Antminer S19, S20 and S21 series machines. Fans are the single most common failure on an air-cooled Antminer — they are the only moving parts in the box, they run at six thousand-plus RPM in a dusty environment, and when one dies the miner throttles or shuts down within minutes. Buying the assembly rather than a loose fan means you get the backplate and hardware, so the swap is a bolt-in instead of a scavenging exercise.

The fitment trap worth knowing about

All of these fans share the same 120 × 120 × 38 mm footprint and the same 4-pin PWM connector, but they are not all the same motor. S19-series machines typically ship a 12 V fan in the region of 2.7 A, while later S21 and T21 builds use a noticeably higher-current 12 V fan. Physically interchangeable, electrically not equivalent — fit an underrated fan to a machine that expects more airflow and you will chase thermal throttling you cannot explain.

Fitting notes from doing this a lot

Replace fans in pairs. A new fan next to a worn one gives you uneven airflow and the machine will still throttle.
Check fan orientation before you close the case — intake and exhaust are not interchangeable, and a backwards fan will cook a hashboard quietly.
Blow the heatsinks out while the case is open. Most “dead fan” calls we get are actually a dust-blocked heatsink and a fan that gave up trying.
If the miner still reports a fan error after the swap, suspect the control board fan header before you suspect the new fans.

Refurbished	Tested working, plus work done: cleaned, thermal paste and fans dealt with, failed components replaced. The listing says what was actually done to that unit rather than using the word as decoration.
As-is / for parts	Sold with no working claim at all, at a price that reflects it. Buy these to repair or to harvest. If a listing says as-is, assume it does not hash until you have proved otherwise.
Untested	We have it, we have not powered it, and we are not going to pretend we did. Rarer than as-is and always stated explicitly.

What a grade here does not mean

We will not invent a grade to fill a field. If a unit came in without history and has not been through the bench, its listing says that.

How the grade gets decided

A used-hardware seller who will not tell you how they test is asking you to take the grade on trust. Ours is published: the six-step bench procedure every machine goes through, and the five measurements that get recorded — per-board hashrate, chip count, measured wall power rather than the nameplate figure, hardware error rate, and temperature under sustained load.
