Description
A hashboard test fixture for the Antminer E9 and E9 Pro. It powers an E9-family hashboard on the bench, runs a test file loaded from a TF card, and reports what the board is doing — and over the USB-to-TTL link it hands you the full fault log on a PC, which is the part that actually shortens a repair. Beyond dead ASICs it is used to chase temperature sensor faults, PIC faults, no-hashrate and low-hashrate conditions.
Antminer E9 hashboard fixture — what it fits and what ships with it
| Fits | Antminer E9 and E9 Pro hashboards. That is the list |
|---|---|
| Does not fit | S19-, S21- or Whatsminer-family boards. If your inventory is S19s and S21s this fixture will sit on the shelf |
| Faults it chases | Dead ASICs, temperature sensor faults, PIC faults, no-hashrate and low-hashrate conditions |
| Fault log | Full log to a PC over the USB-to-TTL link — the part that actually shortens a repair |
| Test file | Loaded from a TF (microSD) card. Confirm with us whether a current E9 / E9 Pro test file is on the card — the files are distributed separately by the repair vendors and we will not promise a card image we have not looked at |
| Accessories in the listing photograph | TF card, two light-coloured signal cables, a 4-pin cable, a USB-to-TTL cable, a 12 V power adapter, an RJ45 network cable and a pair of red and black alligator power leads |
| The board it tests | Eight BM2280 BGA chips, each pair sharing a multi-phase supply; rails at VCORE 0.7 V, VP 0.9 V and VPH 1.2 V from the DC-DC stage plus VDDIO 1.8 V and VDDPLL 0.8 V from an LDO |
| Condition and warranty | Not stated in this listing, so nothing here claims either. Ask before you buy and we will tell you what we actually have — new sealed, opened, bench-tested or untested — and put any coverage in writing |
What ships with the Antminer E9 hashboard test fixture
The listing photograph shows the main fixture board with its heatsink, hashboard edge connectors and an Ethernet jack, plus the accessory set: a TF (microSD) card, two light-coloured signal cables, a 4-pin cable, a USB-to-TTL cable, a 12 V power adapter, an RJ45 network cable and a pair of red and black alligator power leads. That matches the accessory list the specialist repair vendors publish for this fixture — alligator power cables, a voltage regulation cable, a 12 V adapter cable, a USB-to-TTL cable and a network cable.
What an E9 hashboard actually is, if you have not had one apart
The E9 and E9 Pro are Bitmain’s Ethash machines — the E9 Pro is rated 3.68 GH/s at 2,200 W, about 0.598 J/MH, and was released in February 2023. Its hashboard is a different animal from a Bitcoin board: eight BM2280 BGA chips, with each pair of chips sharing a multi-phase supply, and rails at VCORE 0.7 V, VP 0.9 V, VPH 1.2 V from the DC-DC stage plus VDDIO 1.8 V and VDDPLL 0.8 V from an LDO. Eight big chips instead of a hundred small ones changes the economics of repair completely — one dead ASIC is a much larger share of the board, and getting the diagnosis right before you rework matters more, not less.
This is a narrow tool, and we would rather say so
It tests E9 and E9 Pro hashboards. That is the list. If your inventory is S19s and S21s, this is not the fixture you want and it will sit on the shelf — the K3L multi-function tester or the universal hashboard tester are the right buys, or the Whatsminer M20 / M30 fixture and the IceRiver KS fixture for those platforms. Buy this one because you hold E9 stock and post-Merge Ethash hardware is genuinely awkward to get serviced anywhere.
One thing to confirm with us rather than assume: whether the TF card ships with a current E9 / E9 Pro test file on it. The fixture is close to useless without the right test file, the files are distributed separately by the repair vendors, and we are not going to promise you a card image we have not looked at. Ask and we will check the card before it goes out. For the rework side, the full hashboard repair tool kit covers the bench; everything else is in repair parts and tools and on the miner list.
Condition and warranty
This listing does not state a condition grade or a warranty term, so we are not going to imply one. Before you buy, ask us and we will tell you what we actually have — new sealed, opened, bench-tested, or untested — and put any coverage in writing. Ask us about this unit.

Questions buyers ask about this part
Is this a complete, working machine?
No. This listing is on the parts and repair shelf, which holds both brand-new spares and bench tools and as-is units sold for repair. Which of those this one is, is stated in the description above — read it before you order, and ask us on +1 (781) 577-0377 or ns@ingmining.com if anything about compatibility with your fleet is unclear. We would rather answer the question than take a return.
What should I check the day it arrives?
Photograph the pallet or box before you open it, keep the packaging, and run the 48-hour acceptance test straight away. Freight claim windows are short, and a fault found on day two is a conversation while a fault found on day thirty is an argument. Our own six-step bench procedure is published in full, so you can repeat exactly what we did.
Shipping cost for this exact item, and how warranty and returns work here, are answered in the Shipping & buying tab on this page. Anything else, ask a person on +1 (781) 577-0377 or ns@ingmining.com — we would rather talk before you buy.
This is an E9-family fixture and nothing else — an S19 or S21 board will not seat in it. That specificity is the point rather than a limitation: the parts compatibility guide argues for matching a fixture to the hardware genuinely on your bench instead of to the longest coverage list, and for buying the diagnosis before you buy the part.
