Description
An ASIC miner fan tester: a small bench board that spins a 12 V 4-wire PWM fan on its own, off the machine, and shows you what it is actually doing. The LCD reports fan status, PWM duty as a percentage, the PWM frequency in Hz, and real-time RPM, and the three buttons let you drive the duty cycle up and down and switch the fan on and off while you watch the speed respond.

Why a fan tester earns its place on an ASIC repair bench
Fans are the most common single point of failure on a running miner — they are the only major moving part, they run continuously in dust, and they are the cheapest thing in the box. The problem is that the machine’s own error is almost useless for diagnosis. A miner that halts on a fan fault is telling you “I did not see the RPM I expected on this header”, and that is true whether the fan is seized, the cable is broken, the tach wire has chafed, or the fan header on the control board has failed. Swapping a good fan in tells you something; swapping a fan in that turns out to also be bad tells you nothing and costs you an hour.
Off the machine, it takes about thirty seconds. Put the suspect fan on the tester, push the duty to 100%, and read the RPM. If it reaches its rated speed and holds it, the fan is fine and your fault is upstream — cable, header, or control board. If it stalls, runs slow, or reports nothing on the tach line, you have your answer and you can order the part. It is also the right way to check a replacement fan before you fit it, which matters more than people expect when fans arrive from the same channels the miners do.
What we will and will not claim about connector support
The listing photograph shows a 4-pin fan header and a 4-pin DC input, and that is what we are prepared to state. Other testers in this family are advertised with 6-wire support and several connector shapes, and it would be easy to copy that list across — but if you buy this for a 6-pin Whatsminer fan and it arrives with only a 4-pin header, that is our fault, not yours. Ask us and we will photograph the actual connectors on the unit before you commit. Similarly, the tester supplies the fan; it does not include a fan or a DC power brick unless we tell you it does.

What should I check the day it arrives?
Photograph the pallet or box before you open it, keep the packaging, and run the 48-hour acceptance test straight away. Freight claim windows are short, and a fault found on day two is a conversation while a fault found on day thirty is an argument.
