Description
This is a power supply, not a miner. We are leading with that because the old title read like a lot of four Goldshell box miners, and it is not — it is a single Hewlett Packard 1200 W server PSU set up to run Goldshell box miners, and it can carry up to four boxes depending on what those boxes draw. If you came here expecting hardware that mines, the machines are on the miner list.

The cord warning is not boilerplate — read it
If you intend to run two or more boxes from this supply you need a 15 A cord. That is the listing’s own warning and it is the correct one: 1200 W at 120 V is right at the limit of ordinary 15 A domestic cordage, and a thin “computer” cable is the part that gets hot first. Use a properly rated cord and a circuit that can carry it.
Working out how many boxes it will actually run
“Up to four” depends entirely on which boxes. Goldshell’s range spans a wide spread of power draw, and 1200 W is a hard ceiling — you should be sizing to the sum of the rated draw of your specific boxes plus headroom, not to a box count. Running a PSU at its nameplate continuously is how you find out what its real service life is. Tell us which models you are running and we will do the arithmetic with you before you order.
One more thing to confirm rather than assume: server PSUs of this type normally need a breakout board and PCIe cabling to be useful, and whether those are in the box varies. Ask us what ships with this one — we would rather tell you than have you discover it on the bench.
Condition and warranty
The listing states a 60-day warranty and a money-back guarantee if it does not work on your Goldshell boxes. That is the term that applies. It is not a manufacturer’s warranty — a previous version of this page claimed a 6-month manufacturer’s warranty alongside the 60-day term, which was wrong and contradicted itself, so it has been removed. If you want the coverage confirmed in writing before you buy, ask us.
