Description

A FANUC robot teach pendant. Read the next paragraph before you buy it.

This listing does not give a part number, and that matters

FANUC teach pendants are not generic. They are tied to a controller generation, and frequently to a software option set on top of that. The difference between an A05B-2301, an A05B-2490 and an A05B-2518 pendant is not cosmetic — put the wrong one on a controller and it either does not enumerate at all or comes up missing functions you need to teach a point.

This listing was imported without a model number, so we cannot tell you which one it is from the listing alone, and we are not going to guess. Message us and we will read the label off the actual unit — the A05B number, the display type and the connector — and send you photographs of it before any money moves. Condition and warranty are likewise not stated here, so ask for those in writing too.

What to tell us so the answer is useful

  • Controller model, from the cabinet plate: R-J3, R-J3iB, R-30iA, R-30iB and so on.
  • The A05B number on the pendant you are replacing if you still have it. This is the single most reliable identifier and it is printed on the back.
  • Whether the cell relies on iPendant features — embedded browser, colour multi-window, touch — because those need an iPendant, not a standard pendant.
  • Cable length and connector style, if the old cable is damaged.

If you already know the part you need

We separately list a FANUC A05B-2301-C315 pendant, new open box and fully tested, which is an identified part with a stated condition. If your controller is in the R-J3 to R-30iA range, start there instead of here — a known part number is worth more than a lower number on an unknown one.

What’s in the box

  • 1 × FANUC Robot Teach Pendant
  • Nothing that is not listed above. Cords, controllers, brackets and spares are only included when this listing names them — if you need to know before you pay, ask on +1 (781) 577-0377 or ns@ingmining.com and we will confirm in writing what is physically in the crate

Questions buyers ask about this pendant

Which part number is this pendant?

We do not know, and we are not going to guess. This listing was imported without a model number, so the listing alone cannot tell you. Message us and we will read the label off the actual unit — the A05B number, the display type and the connector — and send you photographs of it before any money moves. Condition and warranty are likewise not stated here, so ask for those in writing too.

Will it work on my robot controller?

Not necessarily, and that is the risk with an unidentified pendant. FANUC pendants are tied to a controller generation and frequently to a software option set on top of that: put the wrong one on a controller and it either does not enumerate at all or comes up missing functions you need to teach a point. An A05B-2301, an A05B-2490 and an A05B-2518 are not cosmetic variations of each other.

What should I tell you so the answer is useful?

Four things: your controller model from the cabinet plate (R-J3, R-J3iB, R-30iA and so on); the A05B number printed on the back of the pendant you are replacing, which is the single most reliable identifier; whether the cell relies on iPendant features such as the embedded browser, colour multi-window or touch; and the cable length and connector style if the old cable is damaged.

Should I just buy the identified pendant instead?

If your controller is in the R-J3 to R-30iA range, probably yes. We separately list a FANUC A05B-2301-C315 pendant, new open box and fully tested, which is an identified part with a stated condition. A known part number is worth more than a lower number on an unknown one.

Shipping cost for this exact item, and how warranty and returns work here, are answered in the Shipping & buying tab on this page. Anything else, ask a person on +1 (781) 577-0377 or ns@ingmining.com — on surplus stock we would much rather answer the question than take a return.

Where this listing sits

This is surplus, not mining hardware. We buy equipment lots and estate lots, and things arrive in them that have nothing to do with ASICs. Rather than force them into a miner category they do not belong in, they get listed for what they actually are, in surplus and industrial equipment. The condition of this item is whatever the description on this page says it is — and on several of these listings what it says is that the condition was never stated to us.

What our condition words mean

These are the only words we use, on surplus as much as on machines, and each one means a specific thing. They are not interchangeable and we do not soften them to move stock.

NewUnused stock. Factory sealed unless the listing says otherwise — “new, open box” means exactly that, and the listing will say it.
TestedSecond-hand, and it powered up and did what it is meant to do while we had it. What was actually checked is stated on the listing. Expect cosmetic wear.
As-is / for partsSold with no working claim at all, at a price that reflects it. Buy these to repair or to harvest.
UntestedWe have it, we have not powered it, and we are not going to pretend we did.
Not statedThe most common answer on this shelf, and the honest one. Equipment lots arrive with no history, so where the listing does not name a condition we do not invent one — ask, and we will photograph the actual item and tell you what we can see.

What a condition here does not mean

  • Cosmetic wear is not a fault. Dust, scratches, scuffed labels and discoloured plastics are normal on equipment that has been in service. We photograph what we have; if the pictures matter to you, ask for more and we will take them.
  • A condition is not a warranty. Warranty terms are stated per listing, never per store — see the Shipping & buying tab. On surplus, assume there is none unless the listing names one.
  • A part number on the page is not a part number on the unit. Where a listing quotes a distributor catalogue or a manufacturer record rather than the label in front of us, it says so. Confirm against the actual label before you order anything that has to fit something else.
  • We will not invent a condition to fill a field. Several of these listings say outright that the import gave us no model number and no condition, and we would rather publish that than a guess that reads better.

How we describe surplus

There is no bench procedure behind these listings and we are not going to imply one. What is behind them is the unit, its labels, and the manufacturer’s own published record for the part number — and where those disagree, or where a distributor catalogue is the only source, the listing says which it is quoting. Before you buy anything on this shelf, ask us: we will photograph the labels on the actual item and put what we can see in writing. It costs us ten minutes and it is the only thing that reliably prevents a return.

Shipping

Shipping this item inside the United States costs $49.99 by UPS Ground — that is the rate the checkout will charge, read from the store’s own shipping settings, not an estimate. Orders ship within 7 business days.

Outside the United States the checkout quotes a flat international rate. On multi-unit or pallet orders, contact us before ordering so freight to your destination can be confirmed properly. What to check when the pallet arrives, and how a freight claim works, is covered in the mining hardware shipping guide.

What to do the day it arrives

Photograph the pallet or the box before you open it, and keep the packaging until you are satisfied. Freight claim windows are short, and damage found on day two is a conversation while damage found on day thirty is an argument.

This is surplus stock rather than mining hardware, so there is no hashrate to verify on arrival. Check it against the part numbers, ratings and condition stated on this listing, and tell us straight away if what arrived is not what the page describes — that is the check that matters on equipment-lot stock, and it is the one we will stand behind.

Condition, warranty and returns

Condition: Condition not stated on this listing, so none is claimed — ask and we will confirm in writing.

Warranty is stated per listing, not across the catalogue. Some units carry a manufacturer term and say so above, naming the term and the date it runs from. Many units, particularly used and AS-IS stock, carry none, and those listings do not claim one. There is no blanket warranty covering a catalogue that runs from sealed factory stock to a hashboard sold for parts. On surplus stock in particular, assume none unless this listing names one.

Returns: ask for the terms on this unit before you pay. No single returns window is published for the whole store, because the sensible terms on a tested working machine and on a board sold AS-IS for parts are not the same terms. Email or call and ask what applies to this exact item — it is a two-minute conversation and a great deal cheaper than a dispute.
