These are the parts that keep an older line running after the OEM has moved on to a newer catalogue number. That is the whole reason this category exists: the replacement Rockwell would sell you is often a different form factor with different firmware and a different parameter set, and the cheapest route back into production is frequently the same part you already have.
Match the catalogue number, not the horsepower
PowerFlex drives vary by voltage class, current rating, filtering and enclosure, and the catalogue number encodes all of it. A 480 V three-phase drive will not do the job of a 240 V single-phase one, and a drive with the right horsepower on the wrong input class is scrap to you. Both PowerFlex drives listed here carry the 480 V three-phase class code — one rated 1 HP / 0.75 kW, the other 3 HP — but check the full CAT number against your existing unit rather than buying on horsepower alone.
Teach pendants are keyed to the controller
A FANUC pendant is not a universal part. The A05B number ties it to a controller generation and, in some cases, to the software running on that controller. Tell us your controller series before you order and we will read the number off the actual unit. One pendant in this category is listed without a model number at all; if that is the one you are looking at, ask us for the part number before you buy rather than after.
Ask what was actually powered up
Some listings here say tested and mean it. Others state no condition, and where that is the case the listing says so plainly. If a unit is not marked tested, assume it has not been powered and price your risk accordingly.
The two drives here are not the same drive
Both are Allen-Bradley, both are 480 V three-phase, both are Frame A and IP20 open-chassis, and both go inside a cabinet. There the resemblance stops. The PowerFlex 4M, catalogue 22F-D2P5N103, is 2.5 A and 0.75 kW — 1 HP — with Volts/Hertz control, an RS-485 port and no brake. It is the small, cheap, do-one-job end of the range. The PowerFlex 525, catalogue 25B-D6P0N104, is 6.0 A and 2.2 kW — 3 HP, with 9.0 A available for sixty seconds — and carries embedded EtherNet/IP, embedded Safe Torque Off and a brake IGBT.
So the choice is not really about horsepower. If the panel has to talk on a network, or the machine needs a safety function that a contactor cannot provide, the 525 is the only one of the two that does it, and no amount of derating makes the 4M do it instead. Both listings state the drives were tested; the 525’s says fully tested.
Neither drive has an EMC filter, and one catalogue is widely misread
The N in both catalogue numbers means no CE-compliant EMC filter. That is not a detail you can wire around: if your panel has to pass a European conformity assessment you either buy the filtered variant or add an external line filter, and neither of these is the filtered variant. It is worth saying plainly because several resellers describe 25B-D6P0N104 as having an integral EMC filter. Rockwell’s own product record for that catalogue number says no filter. Check the number, not the description — ours included.
Who this shelf suits
It suits maintenance, MRO and panel builders replacing like for like on equipment that already works. That is most sharply true of the 2711C-T6T PanelView Component C600: Rockwell took it out of production on 30 June 2016 and names the 2711R-T7T as its functional replacement, but the replacement is a different physical size, so swapping to one means a new cut-out and a re-drawn application. If you have a working machine built around a C600, another C600 is the cheap fix and this is why surplus units still move.
It also suits anyone who already knows their FANUC part number. Teach pendants are keyed to a controller generation and often to a software option set on top of it, so an A05B-2301-C315 is not interchangeable with an A05B-2490 or an A05B-2518, and a physically identical pendant can refuse to come up on the wrong controller. Bring the number off the back of the pendant you are replacing, not the robot’s number. The second pendant on this shelf was imported without a part number and we will not guess at one — ask us and we will read the label off the actual unit and photograph it before any money moves.
It does not suit a new installation. Nothing here states a warranty term, and for a first-time build the right answer is a distributor.
Most of it is Allen-Bradley and FANUC control gear. The PowerFlex 4M is a 1 HP drive, the PowerFlex 525 is a 3 HP unit from the same family, and the PanelView Component C600 is the operator panel that usually sits in front of them. Condition is stated per listing and we do not guess at it — where a unit says tested, it was tested.
