The Binance Pool shutdown is nine days away. At 07:00 UTC on November 10, Binance stops taking shares and disconnects miners. If your machines still point at Binance then, they stop earning. Here are the dates, what is closing, and how to move.
The Binance Pool shutdown dates
Binance posted the notice on October 13. Both Decrypt and crypto.news report the same three deadlines:
- November 10, 07:00 UTC: miners are disconnected and the Stratum URLs are switched off. Shares sent before this time still count toward the final payout. Shares after it do not.
- November 10, 23:59 UTC: finish any identity checks Binance asks for, or the final payout can be held up.
- November 24, 07:00 UTC: the pool pages go dark for good, so save your payout history before then.
Pool Savings, Cloud Mining and the Transaction Accelerator close too, along with the pool API and the Telegram and email alerts. Pool Savings holders need to redeem first. Binance gives only an “ongoing review of products and services” as the reason.
How big Binance Pool still is
Not very. Over the last seven days it found 6 of 1,051 blocks, or 0.6%, per mempool.space. That ranks it 13th. Crypto.news, citing Hashrate Index, puts it at about 9.2 EH/s in October. That is down from about 26 EH/s, or 2.3% of the network, at the end of 2025. So most of its miners have already left.
Meanwhile, Foundry USA, AntPool and F2Pool found 63% of blocks this week. Binance follows OKX, which shut its pool in 2024, and SBI Crypto, which closed in July. As a result, exchange-run mining pools are close to gone.
What a missed day costs
Hashprice is about $32.8 per PH/s per day right now. That uses 1,070 EH/s from mempool.space and bitcoin near $77,705 from CoinGecko. So a used Antminer S19k Pro at 115 TH/s makes about $3.78 a day before power. A rack of 20 makes about $76 a day. If those machines hash into a dead pool for a weekend, that money is gone, and you still pay for the power.
How to move off Binance Pool
First, pick a new pool and make an account there. Look at the payout method, the fee and the minimum payout. Next, open each miner’s web page. On an Antminer it is under Miner Configuration, which has three pool slots. Put the new pool’s Stratum URL and your worker name in slot one. Then save and let it restart. Finally, check the new pool’s dashboard for your hashrate within an hour.
In short, do not wait for the cutoff. Move now, and watch the old Binance dashboard until the last shares are paid. Also remove the Binance URL from the backup slots. Otherwise a miner can fail over to it after November 10.
What we think
For most miners this is a one-hour job, not a crisis. However, it is easy to forget on a site with 200 machines and old configs. We set pools for every machine we ship, so if you buy from us, tell us which pool you want. Browse our miners in stock or bulk used ASIC miner lots. For the break-even maths on older machines, see the mining economics guides. For the exchange side of the story, read our report on the Binance hack.
