Editorial policy
ING Mining News covers bitcoin mining: network difficulty, hashrate, miner companies, regulation and what it all does to the profit of a mining machine.
Who writes and edits it
Nick Squires, owner of ING Mining LLC, edits every news story before it runs under his name. We use AI tools to help research and draft. Nick edits each story. Every number has to trace to a public source we link in the article.
How we source
We use two or more independent sources for any factual claim. We link our sources inside the story. When something is unconfirmed we say so. Price and network figures come from public data such as mempool.space.
What we sell
ING Mining sells used and new ASIC miners. That is a business interest, and we say so. News stories are not product ads. When a story mentions what a machine earns, we show the math and the assumptions so you can check it.
Our own data
Some stories use our own sold-price data from eBay sales of used miners. We publish totals and averages only, never a seller or a listing.
Corrections
If we got something wrong, email ns@ingmining.com. We fix the story and note the correction at the top of it.
